Maci Bradford, and Ella Beach are four of 18 athletes representing the United States on the U-21 Women's National Team in the FIH Junior World Cup.
Kasey Tapman Asper was named as an assistant coach of the U-21 USWNT by Head Coach Ange Bradley.
The United States is in Pool F, alongside New Zealand, Korea, and Uruguay. The U.S. will open play against New Zealand on Dec. 1, followed by a matchup against Korea on Dec. 3. They will close out pool play on Dec. 5 against Uruguay. The semifinals will be held on Thursday Dec. 11 and the gold-medal game takes place on Saturday, December 13
This is the first time the U.S. Junior Women's National Team has qualified for the world cup. The team secured qualification last July by finishing second at the 2024 Junior Pan American Championship in Surrey, Canada

Korea has been successful the past few years winning back-to-back medals in the Asia Cup, earning silver in 2023 and bronze in 2024. They qualified for the World Cup by defeating Japan 3-2 in shootouts last year.
Uruguay vs United States

In 2022, Uruguay qualified for its first Junior World Cup. They secured their first ever win in the games over Austria. The United States played Uruguay earlier in 2025 in the Junior Pan American Games, where the U.S. pulled away 2-1 win in the semi-final match.

JOSIE HOLLAMON
- Junior Josie Hollamon traveled with the Women's National Team to Uruguay this past July for the Pan American Cup. She brought home a silver medal.
- She has earned three medals with the U.S. National Teams, including one gold and two silver.
- For the Terps, Hollamon earned Big Ten All-First Team honors this season.
- "I'm super excited about building connections and competing with my teammates at the Junior World Cup. This is a great opportunity for our group and I'm extremely excited to get started and work really hard with this team so that we can compete at the highest level!."

Josie Hollamon played on the Women's National Team at the Pan American Cup and won a silver medal.
TERPS ON THE JUNIOR WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM
- Alyssa Klebasko, Maci Bradford, and Ella Beach were all part of the 2023 U-18 Women's National Team.
- This past summer, these Terps represented the United States in the 2025 Junior Pan American Cup and brought home a silver medal.
- Bradford led the Terps this past season with 18 points off five goals and eight assists. She earned 2025 All-Big Ten Second Team honors.
- "I'm really excited to play at a high level, and explore Chile!" said Bradford.
- Klebasko finished in goal with a 10-6 record making 60 saves and recording a goals against average of 1.07. She picked up her third Second Team All-Big Ten honors.
- "I am very excited for the Junior World Cup to start and I am looking forward to representing the USA and playing the best teams from all over the world." said Klebasko.
The Junior Women's National Team won the silver medal in Paraguay.
Venue information
- The Junior World Cup is set to take place at the National Stadium Sports Park in Santiago, Chile. This site also hosted the 2023 iteration of the event, where the U-21 USWNT finished tenth.
- The World Cup will be played from December 1 through the 13. Pool play will go through Dec. 1-5, quarterfinals are Dec. 7-10, semifinals are Dec. 11 followed by the championship game on December 13.
