Fort Pierce, Fla. -
The Maryland swimming and diving program continues to train in Fort Pierce. Senior Captain Jake DiPiazza blogs about his time in preparation for the 2008 season.
"There are just two practices left to go on our training trip. Looking back, the team has grown in many ways during the past week. The training trip was about moving forward in more ways than just quality training. It was a chance to fully focus all of our energy on swimming and on our teammates.
"The past two days have been unusually cold with record low temperatures in the area. The cold weather has especially forced our team to push through what were not ideal training conditions.
"Everyone is excited about starting the second half of our dual meet season. With four meets in the next four weeks we are looking forward to perfecting the details of our races before the ACC Championships."
