CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -
Due to impending rain showers in the Boston area Sunday, the University of Maryland's originally-scheduled baseball game at Boston College has been moved up to Saturday and the two teams will now play a doubleheader beginning Saturday at noon.
The second game of the doubleheader will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.
Boston College won the series opener of the three-game series Friday afternoon, 8-1.
Brett Jones (Dunkirk, Md./Southern) is scheduled to start the first game of the doubleheader with Kevin Biringer (Albuquerque, N.M./Bradley University) expected to start game No. 2.
WMUCSports.com will air both games live and in full with Joey Whelan and Scott Sudikoff calling the action.
