Terps Compete at NCAA East Regional Championships

Tallahassee, Fla. - Jillian Anwah finished sixth in the discus during the first day of competition at the NCAA East Regional Championships hosted by Florida State University yesterday.

The senior posted a mark of 49.77 meters in the event.

On the men's side, senior Dominic Berger qualified for the event finals in the 110-meter hurdles by finishing in seventh place with a time of 13.72. He will compete in today's final at 4:55 p.m.

Also for the Terrapins, David Edwards-Brennan finished tenth in the high jump with a mark of 2.06 meters.

Today's competition will begin with the hammer throw, where the Terrapins will feature senior Aysha Gregory, who holds the school record in the event.
