Fall Baseball Culminates This Weekend

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland baseball team's fall season is set to culminate this weekend with the annual Red & Black Super Regionals.

Game times for the intrasquad scrimmages are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Noon Sunday.

Teams were drafted by four of the seniors on the roster. Pitchers Brett Harman and Eric Potter will captain the Black team, while pitcher Blair Delean and first baseman Curtis Lazar will captain the red team.

The Terps return 14 players from last year's squad and welcome 22 newcomers that were ranked as the No. 25 recruiting class in the nation by Baseball America.

All three games are free of admission and fans are encouraged to participate in Halloween festivities along with the team on Sunday. Players will take batting practice in costumes from 10-11 a.m. Sunday.
