CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. - Andrew Relihan notched the top performance for Maryland on day two of the 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday.

Relihan took 12th in the 200 IM (1:48.87). The mark was also an NCAA B-cut time. Sophomore John Hauser finished 15th in the same event (1:49.45).

Bradley Dillon was the Terps' top point-getter in the 500 free, finishing 16th (4:31.31) after taking 12th in his prelim swim. Alex Spina was 21st (4:34.54) to follow Dillon. He shaved over a second off his prelim time to move up two spots in the finals.

The Terps took ninth in the 200 free relay (1:20.20). The group of Hauser, Charlie Rommel, Dillon and Jeff Winters registered a season-best time which also netted the team another NCAA B-cut mark.

Maryland resumes championship action Friday with prelims kicking off at 11 a.m.
