BEFORE MARYLAND - Was captain of both the indoor and outdoor track teams in 2009... has league record in high jump both indoors and outdoors... personal best of 6-7 in the high jump, finishing 4th at state meet and 5th at New England Championships at that height... was a three-time DCL All Star.
PERSONAL - Son of Frank Charles III and Mary Jean... father played water polo at University of Connecticut and is an All-American masters swimmer... has one sibling Allie, 15... came to Maryland for the academics, athletics and size... has coached youth basketball... plans to major in kinesiology... also recruited by UMass, Springfield and Worcester.
