As a Junior (2004): Ran in two races, posting a season-best 23rd place finish at the ACC Pre-Meet (6.3k)... ran a 22:51 (5k) to finish 45th at the JMU Invitational.

As a Junior (2003): Ran at the Maryland Invitational, finishing 42nd with a time of 20:33.5.

As a Sophomore (2002): Ran in five meet for the Terps...improved her time at the 2001 Navy Invitational by more than 30 seconds at the 2002 Invitational...finished third at the Maryland State Championships in the 5,000 meters with a time of 19:36.00...season-best time of 19:35 recorded at the Maryland Invitational.

As a Freshman (2001): Raced to an 11th place finish at the Maryland Invitational on Oct. 13...finished in 22nd place at the ACC Preview on Sept. 29...improved her 2001 5k time of 19:38 to 18:25 at the 2002 Indoor ACC Championships in North Carolina.

Before Maryland: Ran four years of varsity cross country and track for Howard High School in Ellicott City, Md., winning four varsity letters...maintained a 3.5 GPA...made the All-County cross country team three times...was selected to the All-County track team one time.

Personal: Daughter of Veronica and Stephen Baker...has two younger brothers, Patrick and Mark.
