COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland cross country team will travel to Gettysburg this Saturday for its final tune up prior to the Big Ten Championships.  

Alexandra Lucki and Emily VandeWater return to action as the top two finishers from the Paul Short Invitational. Both have continued to train hard in preparation for the championship portion of the season. 

Junior Sydney Almeida and seniors Katie Nappi and Catherine Sheffo have demonstrated consistency this season and will be leaned on again at the upcoming invitational. The full squad will be intact out on the course this weekend.

The 6k course is located on the Gettysburg College campus. The course is relatively flat run on grass and trails with some rolling areas. The gun will go off for the start of the women's 6k race at 11:30am.

Directions:  The start area is located off of Mummasburg Road, adjacent to the Tennis Courts. The finish area is located directly behind the start area, but across Mummasburg Road next to Clark Field. Please refer to the campus maps.
