Hey there Terp fans!!!

It's been another fantastic week for the GymTerps. After coming off of a fun weekend spent with some amazing future Terps, the GymTerps were super pumped to get back in the gym. We had our normal Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday workout/boot camp.... but on Wednesday, instead of doing yoga we hit the pool! No, not to get a tan (indoor pool), but to get a nice cardio workout that is easy on our bodies!

We then had an amazing but tough practice on Thursday. It was really a day to push ourselves harder, and as a team, to reach our preseason goals. Although it was a tough practice, we sure earned having some fun by going to the PG sports complex on Friday to go crazy with chucking some new skills. This sports complex is a great place to go because of their amazing facility and foams pits- galore! Many GymTerps learned and tried many new skills that we are excited to perform for you all in the upcoming season :)

Saturday was game day so that means it was a great day! The GymTerps started our Saturday bright and early by signing some autographs for fans at Terp Town. I know I saw many of you there, so thanks for coming out!! The Terps football team won their game against USF 35-17!! It was great to seem them out there getting that W. It was a big day for the gymterps as we were the stars of the halftime show! Many of our GymTerps got to walk the field at halftime in honor of receiving the student athlete scholar award... yes we are smart too :)

Lastly, we had our HUGE adventure Sunday run day boot camp yesterday. We were lucky enough to get to go back to the Under Armour headquarters in Baltimore and have another workout on their turf right by the water. After killing that workout, and by killing I mean the GymTerps looked faster and stronger than ever, we headed to the Fort McHenry battle site and did some educational touring. Being from Texas I know I have a ton of touring to make up for now that I am living on the east coast. So I found it to be a great experience to be able to go and explore this great state!

That's all Terp fans. Thank you for checking in on us and we will see you next week to hear about another great week!

GO TERPS!
