Hey Terp Fans!

The GymTerps had an action-packed week. We got hit with the blizzard and got two snow days out of it so classes started up again on Wednesday. It's going to be a great semester for the GymTerps. In the gym we had a great week of practice and team events to prepare for the Pink Meet on Sunday. 

On Saturday some of the GymTerps volunteered for the National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The GymTerps helped teach young girls flexibility and strength. It's always great to give back to the community! 

On Sunday we had our first home opener meet against Iowa. The team has been so excited to compete on the home court in front of our fans since the last meet got snowed out. All that built up energy really helped the GymTerps put on a show! We had an awesome turnout and scored a season high 195.500. The GymTerps really brought it home on floor. Shoutout to freshman Macey Roberts for a 9.90 routine! 

Thanks to everyone who came out to watch this weekend! Make sure to mark your calendars for our next home meet against Rutgers on February 14th! It's the second year that Maryland Gymnastics is hosting the Beauty and the Beast meet. Maryland Wrestling and gymnastics will be competing side by side. It's definitely a day you won't want to miss!
