TEMPE, Ariz. -- Doubles duo Ekaterina Tour and Caroline Williams debuted at No. 60 in the ITA Doubles Rankings on Tuesday. The two are the first Terps to be ranked this season. Maryland currently sits at No. 44 in the team composite rankings.
Tour and Williams have had an impressive spring season, earning a 12-4 overall record and a 6-1 mark in conference play. The two have played in both the first and second doubles positions in head coach Daria Panova's lineup and have been a large part in Maryland's doubles dominance this season.
They appear in the rankings after picking up two wins this past weekend, including one against the then 27th-ranked duo in the country, Michigan's Mira Ruder-Hook and Brienne Minor.
The Terps will be back in action on Saturday, April 15 when they take on Rutgers at the Tennis Club of College Park.
