COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland cross country team is set to take the course at the University of Nebraska on Sunday, October 28 for the 2018 Big Ten Championship Meet. The Terps will run against the 13 other conference institutions starting at 11:45 a.m. at the Mahoney Golf Course.
The races will be broadcast live on BTN2Go and the FOX SPORTS app, and will be shown on tape delay via the BTN on Monday, Oct. 29 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Live Results of the meet will be available

Maryland enters the B1G Championship coming off its best team performances of the season, after finishing fifth at the Princeton Invitational on October 12. The Terps took fifth in the field of 22, led by a 19th place overall finish from senior
Emily Bracher.
Bracher continues to lead the Terps in her senior season, as she's finished as Maryland's No. 1 runner in all the events she's raced in this season and one of the top two Terps in each event she competed in last season. At the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational, she led the Terps and finished 26
th out of over 350 competitors.
Junior
Kathryn Gearhart remains steady as the second scorer for the team after finishing No. 2 in her last two events returning from an injury that left her sidelined last season. She finished as Maryland's No. 2 runner the last time she competed at the Big Ten Championship in 2016.
Sophomore
Christine Laurie, junior
Brittany Lang, and junior
Paige Novak will also be in the mix for the Terps, after the trio finished 3-4-5 for Maryland at the Princeton Invitational. Â

Maryland will race in its fifth Big Ten Championship Meet since joining the conference in 2014. The Terps finished 14th (445 points) in their inaugural year, 11th (362 points) in 2015, and 12th (319 points) in 2016. Last year, the team put together its best-ever finish at the Big Ten Championships finishing 10
th with 257 points.
Alexandra Lucki paced the Terps at the Big Ten Championships last season, taking 12th in the field.
Emily Bracher finished No. 2 among the Terps, taking 33
rd overall.
The Terps will return to the course on Friday, November 9 to compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals in State College, Pa.
