COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Freshman midfielder Grace Griffin was selected as part of the ILWomen's 25-player All-Rookie Team, Inside Lacrosse announced Monday.

The lone freshman starter on the 2018 Terrapin team, Griffin made an impact all over the field totaling 30 goals and seven assists, while ranking third on the team with 30 groundballs and recorded 13 caused turnovers. 

The 2018 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Griffin posted numerous big performances including a five-point affair against Penn State on April 19th and four-goal performances in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals against Johns Hopkins and the regular season game against James Madison. Griffin was one of six Terps named to the All-Big Ten team and was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week twice this season. 

Last season, defender Meghan Doherty and attacker Kali Hartshorn were named to the ILWomen All-Rookie Team.
