COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The ninth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (14-1, 3-1 B1G) will return home to host Michigan (11-5, 2-2) Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the XFINITY Center.

The Maryland athletic department will offer two complimentary general admission tickets for federal government employees to Saturday's women's basketball game vs. Michigan and the men's basketball game against Wisconsin on Jan. 14. Federal government employees can pick up two complimentary tickets by showing their government ID at the Terrapin Ticket Office, which is located at Gate A.

Saturday's game will be Price is Right Night and fans can register to take part in the festivities. Fans are also encouraged to bring dress clothes to donate to Dress for Success.

The Terps used a 12-2 third quarter run to handily beat Nebraska, 81-63, in Lincoln Tuesday night. Junior
Kaila Charles led the way with 19 points, freshman
Taylor Mikesell added 16 and
Stephanie Jones scored 13. Junior
Blair Watson hit four of the Terps' season-high 10 threes for 12 points. Freshman
Shakira Austin pulled down 10 rebounds.

Saturday's matchup is the seventh all-time between Maryland and Michigan. The Terps own the series 5-1. Most recently, the Wolverines won 71-65 on Feb. 22 last year in Ann Arbor. Maryland is 3-0 vs. Michigan at the XFINITY Center.

Charles was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 Watch List Wednesday on ESPNU.

Maryland is No. 5 in the country in rebounding margin (+13.5). The Terps are No. 8 nationally in rebounds with 46.1 per game and in defensive rebounds per game (31.1).

Mikesell leads the Big Ten with 47 threes made. Sophomore
Channise Lewis leads the league with her assist/turnover ratio of 2.5. Austin is No. 4 in the country in total blocks (41) and is third in the Big Ten in rebounds (11.0). Charles is fifth in the league in scoring (16.9).

Frese is in her 17th season as the head coach of the Terrapins. She's led them to a record of 443-120 (.787). She owns a record of 500-150 (.769) over her 20-year coaching career. Frese has led the Terrapins to 14 NCAA Tournaments in her 16 post seasons, three Final Fours, six Elite Eights, eight Sweet Sixteens and nine conference titles.
