COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland baseball program will hold its 2019 Lead Off Banquet, Saturday February 9th, 2019 at 6 p.m., at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. The event is the official kickoff of Maryland's 2019 season, which begins Feb. 15 against Campbell in Conway, S.C.

The evening will feature a panel discussion with former Maryland players Justin Maxwell, Jimmy Reed and Jeff Schaefer, with other participants to be announced. The night will also include dinner, an open bar and a silent auction. The event serves as an opportunity for Maryland baseball families and supporters to meet the players and coaches and show support for the program.

Cost of the event is $125 per person and $75 for former players. Registration and more information can be found here. Season tickets are also on sale. Maryland will face preseason top-25 opponents East Carolina and Michigan, along with 2018 NCAA Tournament club Ohio State at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium this season. Tickets can be purchased here.
