COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The No. 11 Maryland gymnastics team travels to Columbus, Ohio this weekend to compete against No. 23 Central Michigan and No. 31 Ohio State on Saturday, January 25 at 4 p.m. at the Covelli Center. The meet will be available to stream on BTN Plus and live stats will be available here.

The GymTerps enter their third meet of the season with a 3-0 overall record and 1-0 in the Big Ten. Maryland is off to its best start in program history, averaging a 196.138 team score through two meets. They currently sit at No. 11 in the nation overall and are ranked nationally in all events: vault (18), bars (9), beam (16) and floor exercise (17). 

Junior Audrey Barber is ranked 11th nationally on both bars and all-around. She currently holds the top spot in the Big Ten on bars and is ranked fifth in the conference on floor exercise. In Maryland's last meet against Iowa, Barber broke the program record on bars when she earned a near-perfect 9.950. Barber also bested her all-time floor score with a 9.925. 

The Central Michigan Chippewas are currently ranked No. 23 in the nation. The Chippewas current season-best score is a 195.675. Their best team event is vault where they are ranked No. 12 with a season-best 49.100.

The host team, Ohio State is currently ranked No. 31 in the nation. The Buckeyes are coming off a season-best win over Michigan State where they earned a team score of 195.325. Ohio State's best event is on bars where it is currently ranked No. 11 with a season-best 49.275.
