COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland gymnastics and wrestling teams will host their fifth annual Beauty and the Beast event on Sunday, February 16 at 1 p.m. The teams will compete simultaneously on the XFINITY Center main floor with the gymnasts facing Rutgers and the wrestlers taking on Northwestern.

Maryland has hosted an average of more than 2,000 fans at the Beauty and the Beast event, creating an incredible environment for the competing athletes.

For the first time, this event will be ticketed. The price of admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and seniors and free for students with valid student-ids. Tickets are available here. 

Promotions: 

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: Gymnastics will share the floor with Wrestling for this special meet. Be on the lookout for Beauty and the Beast themes prior to the meet and in-venue!

LOVE DAY: Fans will be encouraged to wear red and will receive red pom-poms to wave during the meet in honor of Valentine's Day Weekend.

AUTOGRAPH SESSION: Fans are invited to stick around after the meet for an autograph session with the GymTerps.
