Coach's Comments
  • "We haven't competed over 300 days. Once we got that first rotation out of the way they really kind of turned into themselves. You could see them really get into kind of an attack mode on beam and floor and that carried us through."
  • "I can't say enough about what the seniors did on floor. I mean they really carried us and then if you look at sophomores, what a jump from their freshman year their sophomore year. They were incredible and they were good as freshmen but as sophomores I mean they're already off to a lightning start."
  • "What we leaned on for all the returners; seniors juniors and sophomores, was helping everyone you know focus and be calm and not to think about the nerves not think about the fact that they haven't competed in 300 days, and just go out there and have fun and compete and that's ultimately what made the difference in the win."
