COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland cross country team will travel to University Park, PA on Friday, October 29, to compete at the cross country Big Ten Championships.
The Terps line-up will include graduate student Christine Laurie, senior Sarah Daniels, sophomores Sophia Zell and Kirstin Nichols, and freshmen Katie Turk, Katie Altieri, Katerina Talanova, and Emma Pegg.
The Terps have had a successful season filled with strong runs and a number of personal records in their return to cross country this year. With a young roster, Maryland's cross country team has been led by a mix of veteran leaders and young debutants. They will seek to continue their success this Friday with a strong showing at the Big Ten Cross Country Championship meet.
Maryland will look to have a strong performance at the Cross Country Big Ten Championships in University Park, PA. The women's 6K is scheduled for an 11:45 AM start, and can be followed live here.
