COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Each week during the 2021-22 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Terp of the Week.

This week's Solomon Eye Terp of the Week is graduate Zach Schrader of Terps Wrestling.

Schrader, a transfer from California Baptist University, won the Clarion Open title at his first tournament as a Terp. Schrader began the day on a roll with a pair of technical falls over his first two foes before finishing things off with two decisions.

One of the newest Terps, he topped four consecutive Division-1 foes before earning the medical forfeit over an unrostered competitor in the finals. On the day he would outscore his opponents 49-13 in total. 

The Terps being their dual season on Friday Nov. 12 against former ACC rival Virginia.
