Gymnastics to Host Penn State in Home Opener

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland gymnastics team (3-1, 1-0 B1G) will host its first home meet against Penn State (0-3, 0-2 B1G) on Friday, February 5 in the Xfinity Center.

Last Time Out

The Terps come off a 194.925 victory over Rutgers this past weekend. Maryland won first place in all events and finished with 10 podium honors.

Senior Audrey Barber earned four podium finishes including three first-place titles. Barber's 9.900 on bars, 9.875 on beam and 39.350 all-around scores helped Maryland earn the first-place finish.

Senior Sabriyya Rouse won the floor title after matching her career-best 9.900.

The Terps are currently ranked 14th on floor and 22nd on vault, nationally.

The Penn State Nittany are currently ranked 31st nationally, and 17th on vault. The last time the two teams met was January 17, where the Terrapins won the meet 194.875-193.875. This was the Terrapins first ever win in State College, Pa.
