COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland cross country team will travel to Earlysville, VA on Friday, September 17, to compete at the Virginia Invitational.

 

The Terps line-up this week will include senior Sarah Daniels, junior Samantha facius, sophomores Katie Ericson and Kirstin Nichols, and freshmen Katie Turk, Hannah Mack, Katie Altieri and Allison Colflesh.

Maryland's cross country team kicked off their season two weeks ago (9/3) with a strong team showing at the Mount St. Mary's 5k Duals. The meet saw a number of Terps make their cross country debuts, as the Maryland squad raced to a second place finish. Freshmen Katie Altieri and Allison Colflesh led the way for the Terps, finishing in 8th place and 11th place respectively. 
 

Maryland will look to build upon this early season success as they travel to the University of Virginia for the Virginia Invitational. The meet is scheduled for a 5:15 PM start, and can be followed here.
