COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland cross country team will travel to Emmitsburg, MD to compete at the Mount St. Mary's 5k Duals this Friday, September 3. The meet will begin at 11 am.
This will be the first competition for Maryland since November 2019, as the pandemic did not allow for the 2020 cross country season to take place.
The Terps will be traveling a number of newcomers, as the team includes seven freshmen as well as a number of sophomores who will be making their cross country debuts, as they did not have the opportunity to compete last year.
Maryland will look to put in another strong showing at the Mount St Mary's 5k Duals on Friday, as they placed third in the meet with a strong team performance in 2019. They will also look to this meet to propel them towards a successful cross country season.
