NEW YORK, NY – The Maryland track and field teams came out strong on day two of the Rutgers Open, having several podium finishes and personal records. Chelsey Cole claimed victory in the triple jump, while Jeff Kline and Colin Rowe earned second place finishes in their respective events. Kami Joi Hickson also raced to the fifth fastest time in Terrapins history in the 600m.

Senior Colin Rowe sprinted to a 1:20.54 finish in the 600m, earning a second place finish in the event.

Jeff Kline competed in the shot put championship division throwing to a mark of 17.60m and placed second.

Sophomore Peter Capozzoli raced to a 1:59.25 finish in the 800m.
