EAST LANSING, MI – Despite a new season-high, the Maryland gymnastics team fell 196.875-195.950 to the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday evening inside Jenison Field House. The Terps (2-2, 0-2) posted the following event scores: Vault: 49.150 // Bars: 49.075 // Beam: 49.000 // Floor: 48.825.
Sierra Kondo (9.850) and
Athlyn Drage (9.775) posted career highs on bars, with
Elizabeth DeBarberie tying her career high (9.825) and
Audrey Barber (9.850) posting her season best.
Emma Silberman tied her career high on vault (9.850), while
Olivia Weir posted a new career high of 9.850 on beam. Barber took home her third straight all-around title, with a new season high 39.300. Barber now moves to the fourth all-time leading scorer in program history.
