Terps Head to Baton Rouge for Lloyd Willis Invitational

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Terps track and field squads will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to compete at the Lloyd Willis Invitational this Saturday (4/7), hosted by LSU.

Last time out, the Terps saw another program record fall at the Florida Relays when junior Kayla Thorpe smashed the Terps all time best mark in the Javelin throw. It was the second time this season that she broke the school record in the Javelin. Senior Anna Coffin also raced to the fourth fastest finish in the 1500m in program history at the meet, and several members of both Terps squads set new personal best performances.

The Terps will look to carry their momentum into this weekend at LSU and continue to produce positive results as we get closer to Big Ten Championships.

The meet in Baton Rouge is set to begin at 9:45 AM on Saturday and can be followed live here.
