No. 11 Terps Host Northeastern For Senior Day To Finish The Regular Season

COLLEGE PARK, MD – No. 11 Maryland is at home this weekend against Northeastern for senior day to finish the regular season. The Terps play on Sunday at 11a.m.

  • Alyssa Klebasko was stellar in goal for Maryland, making seven saves to add to her impressive season.
  • Feliz Kuhne recorded four total shots, with three of them on goal. Maci Bradford and Maia Adamson each recorded two shots, and Ella Gaitan recorded a shot.
  • Missy Meharg's message "I think we had a number of very good opportunities. We'll continue to work on the goal-scoring piece. Our press was good. It put us in a position to have good counter-attack looks"

  • Jordyn Hollamon has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week three times this season (9/2, 9/22, 10/13)
  • Sept. 2 - Hollamon helped Maryland to a 2-0 record in the Conference Cup with wins over Stanford and Villanova. She
    assisted on Maryland's first goal of the season and scored her first two career goals against Villanova.
  • Sept. 22 - In just 37 minutes of action, Hollamon contributed a goal off a penalty corner and threaded a long pass on Feliz Kuhne's goal that made the ESPN SportsCenter Top 10. She helped Maryland improve to 5-0 at home.
  • Oct. 13 - Jordyn helped No. 12 Maryland secure the upset win over No. 10 ranked Iowa October 10. She scored a goal in the 43rd minute to tie the game 1-1 in the third quarter
  • Junior goalkeeper Alyssa Klebasko was named Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week for September 15
  • Klebasko posted her 13th career shutout as No. 10 Maryland defeated No. 13 Saint Joseph's, 1-0 in College Park. She tied her career-high of six saves in the 3-1 win over Penn and Allowed one goal in 120 minutes of action on the weekend (Sept. 14), helping Maryland improve its all-time record at the Terrapin Invitational to 22-2.
  • Junior Josie Hollamon was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the week on October 13
  • Josie picked up her first conference honors this season. She scored the game winning goal against No. 10 Iowa off a penalty corner in the 47th minute. She also recorded her first defensive save of the year to help the Terps secure the 2-1 win over the Hawkeyes

  • Three Terps will compete on the U.S. U-21 Women's National Team in the Junior World Cup as announced by USA Field Hockey head coach Ange Bradley
  • Maci Bradford, Alyssa Klebasko, and Josie Hollamon are three of the 18 athletes representing the United States in Santiago, Chile this December.
  • Bradford and Klebasko were both on the U.S. U-21 Women's National Team that went to Paraguay for the Junior Pan American Games. They brought home a silver medal.
  • Hollamon went to Uruguay over the summer with the U.S. Women's National Team for the Pan American Cup and also brought home a silver medal.
  • Associate Head Coach Kasey Tapman Asper was named as an assistant coach to the 2025 U-21 Women's National Team
