As a Sophomore (2011-12): Recorded top five performances for Maryland in the 100 breast (55.69) and 200 breast (2:04.04)...finished 14th in the 100 breast (55.72) at the 2012 ACC Championships... also took 22nd in the 200 back (2:05.64)... competed on eighth-place 200 medley relay (1.28.24) and 200 medley relay that finished fifth (3:15.16)...finished third in the 100 breast (56.55) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:06.33) at the Terrapin Cup.
Before Maryland: Swam for Clemson University...finished 16th in the 100 breast at the 2010 ACC Championships...competed for Providence High School...team won the state championship...also swam for SwimMacCarolina for 12 years under coach Jeremy Knowles.
Personal: Son of Williams and Lynn Sloan...lists biggest sports thrill as swimming at the ACC Championships...says that his sports hero is Eric Shanteau.
