Maurer's Top Times: 50 free - 21.06
As a Sophomore (2011-12): Boasted top five showing for Maryland in the 50 free (21.06)...finished 24th in the 200 free (1:44.61) at the 2012 ACC Championships...took 13th in the 50 free (21.32) at the Terrapin Cup.
As a Freshman (2010-11): Top five performer in the 50 free...posted season-best times in the 50, 100 and 200 free at the ACC Championships...48th in prelim 50 free swim (21.37), 38th in the 200 (1:44.44) and 49th in the 100 (47.11).
Before Maryland: Earned four letters as a member of Lower Dauphin's swim team...member of school's inaugural squad in 2006 under head coach Cari Zelko...Mid-Penn Conference champion in the 100 free and qualified for the state championships in the 200 free and 200 free relay...2009 Academic All-American...PIAA Mid-Penn Officials Association Swimmer of the Year as a senior...also played midfield for the Falcons' lacrosse squad...member of Hershey Aquatic Club for 11 years.
