Biography

As a Freshman (2011-12): Top five performer for Maryland in the 100 breast (56.50), 200 breast (2:03.80) and 200 IM (1:52.47)...finished 19th in the 100 breast (56.50) at the 2012 ACC Championships.

Before Maryland: Four-year letterwinner for coach Andrew Marchand at Torrington High School ... holds the team record in six events ... earned All-Naugatuck Valley League and All-State honors all four years ... named the 2011 Connecticut High School Swimmer of the year ... 2011 Class M State Open MVP and State Champion MVP of the meet ... also a member of the CT YMCA Lasers ... holds the YMCA New England Meet record for 100 breast ... finished sixth in the 2010 Long Course YMCA National Championships.

Personal: Son of Raymond J. Cswerko and Jacqueline Beauchaine ... awarded the Connecticut Association of Schools Award of Excellence ... earned high honors in high school ... favorite pregame meal is a ham, egg and cheese sandwich ... majoring in engineering.
