ON DICKERSON Senior co-captain... one of the most experienced Terps, given he started as a sophomore and was one of the first players off the bench last season. has shuffled between both forward positions in his career, but is best suited for the small forward, where his outside shot and exceptional quickness can best be utilized. still his excellent jumping abilities and strong post-up moves make him a force inside as well.
AS A JUNIOR Started the first four games of the season and then became the valuable sixth man for the Terps ...averaged 4.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game... scored in double figures three times, with a season-high 13 points coming against South Carolina... grabbed a season-high seven boards in the second game of the year against Mississippi. had one of his best overall games at home against Wake Forest... came off the bench in that game to score 11 points and dish for four assists, leading Maryland to its first Atlantic Coast Conference win under Head Coach Bob Wade... was the team's most accurate three-point shooter, hitting 12 of 22 attempts for 55 percent.
AS A SOPHOMORE One of five Terps to start all 26 games... had the second-best rebounding total on the team with 145 boards for a 5.6 average. ..scored 8.3 points per game, fourth best on the team ... scored a career-high 18 points at Duke, near-flawlessly — eight of nine from the floor and two for two from the line... 11 times he scored in double figures. ..had one of his best games ever against Maryland-Eastern Shore, scoring 13 points, dishing for seven assists, grabbing six boards and blocking a shot.
AS A FRESHMAN Saw limited duty, playing in 15 games... averaged 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds a game... had one of his best days of the season in front of family and friends, scoring a season-high nine points, plus totaling four assists, three rebounds and a block against Clemson in South Carolina.
HIGH SCHOOL Olar High School... first team all-state selection... Most Valuable Player in South Carolina's annual North-South All-Star Game... averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds a game as a senior... led Olar to the 5A Conference Championship as a junior and senior, garnering conference MVP honors in the process. also played quarterback and safety for the football team.
