COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland tennis players Ekaterina Tour and Kristina Hovsepyan are set to compete in the prestigious 2015 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
The duo is entered into the qualifying doubles portion of the draw, which begins Tuesday. The pair will face off with Vialle and Dai of North Carolina in the opening round.
Tour and Hovsepyan were paired together for part of the 2014-15 season, recording a record of 8-5 and reaching the quarterfinals of the 2014 USTA/ITA Division I Women's Atlantic Regional Championship.
Tour eventually moved to play No. 1 doubles with Welma Luus. Luus and Alexandra Stanova played in this event last season. Tour went 17-7 in her debut season in singles while Hovsepyan notched four singles victories.
Luus and Nataliya Bredikhina played in this event last season.
