COLLEGE PARK, Md.—The Maryland gymnastics team is back in action Sunday, as they head to Morgantown, W.Va. to face West Virginia, Rutgers and #25 New Hampshire for their second meet of the weekend. The Terps are coming off their annual Pink Meet on Friday, where they tied for first with George Washington (194.925). With the first place finish, the GymTerps move to 6-5-1 on the season and 2-3 in the Big Ten.
All four teams competing were once members of the EAGL. West Virginia, Maryland, Rutgers and New Hampshire have not competed in the same league since 2012. Maryland and Rutgers joined the Big Ten in 2014.

Last Time Out
- The Terrapins tallied its highest team total (194.925) at home of the season, and for the second consecutive meet, placed first. George Washington (194.925) tied with Maryland, while Towson and William & Mary picked up team scores of 194.450 and 190.550 respectively.
- Junior Kathy Tang took the individual title on bars with a 9.800, while senior Stephanie Giameo triumphed on beam with a 9.875.
- Sophomore Sarah Faller tallied a personal season-high score on bars (9.775) and beam (9.750). While Shannon Skochko scored well on vault (9.750) and beam (9.800).
Scouting the Mountaineers
- West Virginia is coming off a 195.425-194.600 falter against Denver. The Mountaineers sit at 6-6-1 on the season.
- WVU ranks #21 nationally on vault, with a 48.971 average.
- Maryland and West Virginia last met on Jan. 9, 2015 in the Terps' season opener. WVU came away with the 193.500-193.025 victory.
Scouting the Scarlet Knights
- Rutgers is coming off a team score of 193.950 and a fourth-place finish in a quad-meet against N.C. State, North Carolina and Kent State.
- Maryland and Rutgers last met on Valentine's Day. The Terps came away with the quad-meet victory after tallying a team total of 195.375.
Scouting the Wildcats
- New Hampshire is coming off a first place finish in a quad-meet against Brown, Bridgeport and Southern Connecticut. The Wildcats posted a team score of 196.075.
- The Wildcats currently rank #25 nationally overall. The team also ranks #14 nationally on beam.
- Maryland and New Hampshire last faced-off during the 2014 season. The Wildcats came away with a 195.925-195.425 victory.
NATIONALLY RANKED ON VAULT AND FLOOR
- The GymTerps also currently ranks 20th nationally and fifth in the Big Ten on vault. The team recorded a season-high team score of 49.150 vs. Iowa (1/30).
- Maryland currently ranks tied for 24th in the nation on floor. The team tallied a season-high team score of 49.100 vs. GW and WVU (1/8). The Terps have broken the 49.000 mark two out of six meets this season.
