COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The National Lacrosse League season opened this past weekend with several Terps on NLL rosters. Here's a look at how our Hardshell alums performed on the opening weekend.
Albany Firewolves
• Fresh off a standout season with the Waterdogs in the Premier Lacrosse League, Connor Kelly opened NLL play with two goals and three assists for five points as the Albany Firewolves defeated Buffalo, 11-10. He also scooped up six loose balls as the Firewolves posted the victory in Buffalo. Albany is back in action on Dec. 17, hosting Rochester.
Georgia Swarm
• Bryan Cole grabbed four loose balls for Georgia in a 16-11 loss to Rochester. The Swarm returns to action on Dec. 17, hosting Philadelphia and several other Terp alums.
Panther City
• The No. 1 overall selection in the 2021 NLL Draft,
Jonathan Donville, will make his NLL debut with Panther City as it hosts Las Vegas on Dec. 9 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Philadelphia Wings
• The Wings feature a pair of 2017 National Champion Terps in Isaiah Davis-Allen and Matt Rambo. Both saw action this past weekend in a defeat to Halifax. Rambo scored two goals and added an assist while grabbing two loose balls. Rambo scored the first goal of the Wings' season in the game. Davis-Allen had an assist with four scooped loose balls. The Wings play Georgia on Dec. 17 in their next game.
