COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The third-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (18-1, 6-0 B1G) will host Rutgers (6-13, 3-3) Sunday at 3 p.m. at the XFINITY Center. All fans at Sunday's game will receive a scratch-off ticket and 500 fans will win a Brenda Frese bobblehead.

Sunday is also Childrens Cancer Awareness Day. The Terps will support cancer awareness and the efforts of the Children's Cancer Foundation to eradicate cancer. The Children's Cancer Foundation, Inc., has awarded grants of over $36.6 million to local hospitals and researchers to treat and cure childhood cancers. For more information about how to get involved, please visit them online at childrenscancerfoundation.org.

The CP Dream Team, a team of local police officers, will play at halftime against local youth in the community. The University of Maryland Office of Community Engagement along with the Embry Center for Family Life, City of College Park, the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD), University of Maryland Police, Maryland-National Capital Park Police, and other partners are working together to coordinate these games to promote positive interactions among community members and law enforcement.

Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game for an autograph session with the team in Heritage Hall.

Sunday's game will be televised around the world on ESPN2 and can be seen on the Watch ESPN app and WatchESPN.com.

Sunday's matchup is the 34th all-time between Maryland and Rutgers, with the Terps owning the series 22-11. Head coach Brenda Frese is 4-1 all-time vs. Rutgers, as Maryland has won three straight matchups since joining the Big Ten in 2014. Last year, the Terps won 73-59 in Piscataway on Feb. 21. Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 21 points and Brionna Jones added 14 points with 11 boards.

The Terps moved past Michigan, 83-70, Thursday night in College Park. Brionna Jones led the way with 25 points and 10 boards for her ninth straight double-double. Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 17 points with eight boards and Kaila Charles added 16 points with six rebounds. Kiah Gillespie notched nine points, all in the second half, with six rebounds to help propel the Terps to the win.

Brionna Jones was named National Player of the Week Monday by ESPNW, Naismith and the USBWA. She averaged 33.5 points, 12.0 rebounds in their victories over Penn State and at Iowa. Jones went 24-for-33 from the field for a percentage of 72.7 and 19-for-22 from the free throw line. Against Penn State, she tied the Maryland record for 42 points in a game and became the fifth Terp to reach 1,000 career rebounds.

Jones is No. 5 on Maryland's rebounding list with 1,027 career boards. She is No. 11 on Maryland's scoring list with 1,607 points and needs 15 to pass Lynetta Kizer at No. 10 (1,621). She currently leads the Big Ten with 13 double-doubles this year, including nine straight. Over the last nine games, she's averaged 23.4 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 2.0 blocks per game.

Walker-Kimbrough is No. 7 on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 1,821 career points. She needs 58 points to pass Shay Doron at No. 6 (1,878). Walker-Kimbrough's career three-point percentage of 45.3% is currently the best in Maryland history ahead of Kristi Toliver's career percentage of 40.8%.

The Terrapins are No. 2 in the country in scoring (90.4), field goal percentage (.509), rebounding margin (+16.3) and third in scoring margin (+28.6). They are fifth in assists (20.6). 

After Sunday's game, the Terrapins will travel to Illinois (8-11, 3-3) for a matchup in Champaign on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. The Terps-Illini matchp will be streamed online through the BTN2Go app and BTN2Go.com.
