Two Maryland wrestlers (Jahi Jones, Philip Spadafora) earned at-large bids to the NCAA Championships. Jones and Spadafora received at-large bids based on each wrestler's head-to-head competition; quality wins; coaches' ranking; results against common opponents; RPI; qualifying event placement; and winning percentage.

Jaron Smith became the third wrestler in program history to be named the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week after pinning #16 Lucas Davison of Northwestern on 2/16.

Four Maryland wrestlers appeared in the Top-25 polls of their respective weight classes. Kyle Cochran, Jahi Jones, Jaron Smith, and Philip Spadafora were eached recognized during the season in the rankings.

Maryland took fifth place at the Black Knight Invite (11/17), finishing above Bloomsburg, Hofstra, and Indiana. Six Terps placed in the eight-team tournament (Baxter, Doetsch, Jasenski, Jones, Sandoval, Spadafora)

Maryland finished in sixth place at the Virginia Duals (1/10-1/11), finishing above Penn and Duke. Maryland beat Fresno State 22-18 in the first round while Cochran went 4-0 with major decisions in each dual.
