Swope's Take
"We had a great start by Logan [Koester] and we kind of got out to a lead and I thought we just kind of left too many guys on base and just didn't put them away," head coach
Matt Swope said. All the credit goes to the guys, good teams find a way to win that was an absolutely massive swing by
Jacob Orr. For a guy that's been in and out of the lineup but put up really good numbers, can't say enough about him coming through and then Logan [Berrier] slamming the door in the ninth."
Jacob Orr On His Big Hit
"I know he (the pitcher) was working early with his fastball and once he got ahead, it seemed like he liked to use his slider more, so after the second strike I kind of just choked up a little bit and wanted to go battle, and luckily he just hung a slider up so I was kind of ready for it."
