#3 Terrapins Face Navy in Annapolis Saturday

#3 Maryland (4-0) vs. Navy (2-0)

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The No. 3 Maryland lacrosse team (4-0) will play its third game in eight days Saturday when the Terps head to Annapolis to play Navy (2-0). The game will faceoff at noon and will be streamed on the Patriot League Network.

STORYLINES BY THE NUMBERS

3 – Senior Louis Dubick scored his most impressive goal as a Terp on February 19 vs. No. 16 Colgate, netting a behind-the-back feed from Anthony DeMaio for Maryland's third goal of the day. The goal appeared in that night's SportsCenter's Top-10 plays, checking in at No. 3. Dubick had a career day at Penn, recording his first career hat trick to help Maryland secure the 13-12 OT victory.

5 – Maryland will look to start 5-0 for the fourth time since 2013 when they meet Navy on Saturday.  The Terps have started 5-0 four times under head coach John Tillman, and are 26-2 overall in February games during Tillman's tenure as head coach.

9 – Maryland has won nine straight games against the Midshipmen dating back to the 2010 season, while head coach John Tillman is 8-0 all-time vs. Navy. The Terps hold a 59-33-1 advantage in the series history, which began in 1924.

10 – The newly instituted 20 second-clear has not hindered the Terps much through four games, with Maryland ranking 10th nationally in clear percentage at 90% (72-80)

15 – Faceoff specialist Austin Henningsen made history against Richmond on February 9, becoming the first player in Big Ten history to post a perfect faceoff percentage (15-for-15, 100%) with at least 15 wins. The Northport, N.Y. native is also the only Terp with at least 10 faceoff wins and a perfect 100% clip since at least 2000, and he's the first Division I player this season to post 15+ faceoff wins and a perfect win percentage.

18 – Fifth-year senior Danny Dolan was sensational for the Terps against Penn on February 16, tying his career-high with 18 saves against the Quakers. It was the most saves in a game by a Maryland goalie since Niko Amato made 24 saves against Yale on April 20, 2013, while Dolan came through with a clutch stop at the end of regulation to force OT.

23 – Head coach John Tillman is 23-11 at Maryland in one-goal games, and has led the Terps to five consecutive wins in one-goal games. After beating Richmond 10-9 and Penn 13-12 in OT, Maryland won back-to-back one-goal games for the fourth time under head coach John Tillman. Maryland beat Penn State (4/8) and Rutgers (4/16) by one goal in consecutive games last season, while the Terps won three-straight one-goal contests vs. Loyola, Rutgers and Ohio State during the 2016 campaign.

55 – Junior Jared Bernhardt eclipsed 100 career points as a Terrapin with his first goal of the game against #16 Colgate on February 19, becoming just the 55th Terp in program history to reach the milestone. Bernhardt now has 103 points (73 G, 30 A) in 41 career games played, and will continue to move up the all-time scoring list as the season progresses.
